We met on a rainy day in San Francisco near the Japanese Tea Gardens to take Kara and Brian’s engagement pictures. They were so patient and a joy to work with! It was a bit of a rough day considering the difficulties of the wind and the rain, but they were awesome!
I loved how they looked so natural and were just so happy to be together! Plus, they were a lot of fun!
Kara and Brian even risked walking on wet benches for some seriously cute pictures. Luckily, there were no accidents!
They even managed a kiss!

Peter & Natalie had decided to go the traditional route of not seeing each other before the ceremony, but Peter had a special surprise in store for her. He sent his groomsmen down to her dressing room before the ceremony to serenade her!

In his toast, Natalie’s father said that she had always wanted a fairy-tale wedding, and that’s exactly what she and Peter had. His comment summed up their wedding perfectly … the stuff of fairy tales. They had their wedding on the golf course at the Diablo Country Club with a string quartet playing softly. Natalie wore a gorgeous lace dress and Peter was simply dashing. Their wedding was a beautiful expression of their love, and we were thrilled to record it.

April and Tony had a wonderfully unique wedding in the hills of Redding overlooking an absolutely gorgeous view of the valley. We had been there the day before for the rehearsal and were looking forward to the breathtaking views as a backdrop. However, about ten minutes before the wedding, when most of the guests had arrived and everything was set up … including the caterer’s food … an absolutely TORRENTIAL rain started. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, HAIL began pouring down. Poor April! The guests crowded under what overhang there was, but it was pretty difficult to stay dry. We waited it out with everyone else, and then about 15 minutes later, everything dried up and we had a double rainbow! Who would have thought? The groomsmen pitched in and dried everything off as best they could, and then the wedding proceeded without a hitch, only a few minutes behind schedule. Watch the downpour and the beauty here:

This was a particularly fun video to make, because the bride and groom had so many of their own unique ideas they wanted to incorporate. Check out the intro with the guys hamming it up for their knock-off of the “Reservoir Dogs”. They all had a lot of fun at the wedding, which lets us have a lot of fun filming it!
